Adele has announced that she will take an extended break following the conclusion of her Las Vegas residency, Weekends with Adele, in November 2024. During a concert in Munich, the Grammy-winning singer revealed that she has spent the last seven years building a new life for herself and now wants to live it fully. Adele emotionally expressed that she may not perform again for a long time, adding that she needs rest after three years of continuous performances. This hiatus follows significant personal and professional developments, including her separation from Simon Konecki and her ongoing relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.
With her final 10 Las Vegas shows approaching, tickets for the last performance on November 23 are skyrocketing, with prices reaching over $14,000 for premium seats. The average ticket price has climbed significantly in recent days, reflecting the high demand for what could be Adele’s final concert for an extended period.
In Munich, Adele expressed her gratitude to “everyone who’s attended any of my shows” over the past three years, during which she performed tracks from her most recent album, “30.”
“It’s been incredible, but I really need a break,” she added.
Adele’s decision is consistent with her history of taking breaks between albums and tours, often stepping away from the spotlight to focus on her personal life. Fans may have to wait quite some time before seeing the singer return to the stage.
